SNES The Beginnings of Game Addiction

I still remember getting my first SNES. Mario's capabilities in this console's games were so much more advanced than its predecessor the Nintendo console. Mario (and Luigi, of course..) could not only fly, but use his cape as a weapon. With the addition of two new buttons on the top of the controllers, the range of movements they could perform to pass the levels increased. The fun also increased, you could pass the level flying over it entirely, twirling around, or any fun movement you could come up with.

The amazing movements were not even the best part, but the (then) striking graphics. No more pixelated graphics, but much more smooth images of the players, and objects. You could even see Mario smile.

The picture above must be around the 6th SNES I have owned in my life. Every time it breaks I look for a new one (not really new..) anywhere possible. I cannot live without owning one. It still brings me so much joy to play it. The SNES fun is timeless! Including the nostalgia of having spent the best moments of my childhood playing this for entire weekends.
